Laser hair removal provides a faster, gentler way to remove unwanted hair with great results for both men and woman. The Lyra hair removal laser can disable hundreds of hair follicles on the face or body in less than one second. Controlled pulses of energy from a beam of pulsating light reach the hair follicles that lie beneath the skin and destroy them. With Lyra hair removal, this state of the art laser system contains a tissue-surface cooling device. This continuously cools the skin surface at the site of the laser pulse and allowing the patient to feel virtually no discomfort at all.
Whether you’re looking to get rid of unwanted hair on your face, back, legs, arms, bikini area or any other area of the body, laser hair removal is the most effective, long-term solution.
When considering laser hair removal, it’s important to know that all hairs grow in cycles, but not all hairs are in the same cycle at the same time. For this reason, several treatments are required – usually 6-10 with a period of 4-6 weeks in between.
So say good-bye to the hassle of tweezing, waxing, shaving, depilatories and electrolysis. And say hello, to softer, smoother, silkier, hair free skin.

Facial Telangiectasias, otherwise commonly known as broken capillaries, are dilated or broken blood vessels. They are small clusters of red, blue, or purple veins that are visible and are closer to the skin's surface. They may vary in size and are typically found on the face, nose, chin, and cheek.
They can develop from scrubbing your face vigorously, rosacea, damaging the skin, even alcohol can contribute to broken capillaries. Telangiectasias can also be found on the other parts of the body such as the legs, chest, back, arms, legs, and lower extremities.
At The Neigel Center, we treat broken capillaries with The Lumenis VersaPulse Laser. The Lumenis VersaPulse Laser safely incorporates a specific beam of light, 532nm that targets the telangiectasia, redness, and vascular lesions underneath the skin. The targeted broken capillaries or lesions absorb the laser’s energy and are heated up, coagulated, or closed down. Depending on the severity of these broken vessels, a series of 3 to 4 VersaPulse treatments are recommended.
Spider veins are enlarged veins that are greater than 0.2 millimeters but less than 2 millimeters in width. They are usually blue or purple. While often flat, they may protrude, especially when standing. Sclerotherapy still remains the most effective non-surgical method for removing spider veins.
Fractional Resurfacing is the gold standard in lasers. This fractional technology stimulates the formation of new and healthy skin and new collagen, providing greater elasticity and support. A high-energy beam of laser light interacts with the skins surface, causing the upper layer to peel off and regenerate a layer of new, healthy skin.
The laser beam is applied in a fractional pattern, leaving small "bridges" of untouched skin. This technique makes the healing process much faster and enables you to get back to normal activities sooner.
